RANI KANNA. ராணி கண்ணா.

A storyteller, arts educator, theatre artist, and actor rolled-in-one, Rani Kanna is a renowned personality in the arts education and entertainment field. Having completed her Teacher‘s Training from the National Institute of Education and with a full-time teaching experience with Ministry of Education Schools, Singapore, Rani employs her expertise in educating children and instilling in them the love for English and Tamil languages through performing arts and storytelling. She holds a degree in Tamil language and a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics. Rani is committed to promoting bilingualism and has conducted many successful storytelling workshops for students, teachers, and volunteers. She is well-versed in Indian  traditional art forms and has been directing plays and preschool musicals since 2014. She has organised the AKT festival and multi-lingual Storython since 2016 to promote storytelling and understanding of diversity in Singapore.
